Always do great work with our motors in there machine shop

I ran out of gas right at the corner across the street from this shop, and the man working at Sundance was so kind, he located a gas can, filled it, asked me to please return it on my way back from getting gas, all without any question, in 110° heat, he saved me from having to walk and risk getting towed from where my truck was still in the street. A company run by empathic humans is the best in any business. These guys rock!

"WAS" a happy customer with Peoria Ford's service dept. I've used Peoria Ford for years and always took my 2011 Ford Fusion to them for all service needs. Well... my last service was terrible. (See Google Review) After a disaster with Peoria Ford's repair shop, I took my 2011 Ford Fusion SEL to this recommended Auto Repair Shop "Sundance Auto Service & Machine Shop". The shop may not look as snazzy as Peoria Ford's, but the mechanics know their stuff. John quickly and correctly diagnosed the problem within a few hours and gave me a great price to do all the work. Apparently the "Vehicle Control Arms" needed replacement as the bushings were totally worn out. A dangerous situation if not repaired. Something the Peoria Ford service department should have noticed and informed me of. But no. Not one peep about control arms from Peoria Ford. After I gave John the go ahead, Sundance not only repaired the car perfectly, but it also only took them one day to do everything. Dropped the car off that morning and picked it up the next day before noon. And I believe the price would have been nowhere near what Peoria Ford would have charged and probably still not fix the problem. Thank you, John, at Sundance Auto Service & Machine Shop for the great repair job.

Earlier this week I reached out to Sundance Auto to bring my car in to be looked at because my cooling fan remained running after I turned my car off, I had to disconnect the battery to turn it off. They couldn't get me in until the following day, I expressed my concern that I had to work. Based on my explanation of what my car was doing John suspected what it was, he instructed me on how to check the relays in my vehicle and suggested I go to O'Reilly's Auto Store to have them run diagnostics then call him with any error codes. I did both of those things and discovered one of the relays wasn't inserted correctly, it was loose, once inserted correctly the fan stopped running. Thank you John at Sundance Auto for your time, and for suggesting what ultimately led to the repair of my vehicle at no cost to me. As a woman I appreciate not being taken advantage of. Thank you Ronnie at O'Reilly's for your help. Go me! Automotive mechanic is going to look awesome on my resume.

The best. John's Sundance Auto is the only place I would trust with my car. John was recommended to me back in 2006 when my car was new and just needed maintenance work. 18 years later I'm taking the same car to him. I can trust that he will fix what is broken and only recommend what is needed. My car just stopped running the other day. I had it towed to Sundance Auto. John diagnosed the problem, fixed it and fixed another light issue I was having. I got my car back for less money and sooner than expected. I am so grateful for John. I wouldn't be driving a 19 year old car without him. Thanks John.

HONEST - TRUSTWORTHY - highly recommend!! Had a coolant warning light pop up out of nowhere - Dealer quoted $4400 - complete overhaul of oil systems. 3600 labor - 1200. Sundance Auto Service explained and showed me what needed repair and more importantly, what didn't. Service was under $1k and my car was ready faster than expected - 2 days! Hoping I'm not back anytime soon but will be if needed, Tx Sundance Auto Service.

We have trusted Sundance with our vehicle repairs before, and yet again they came through and solved our issues. They figured out the after market part ( I know, I know... ) we had twice tried replacing was causing the engine light. But best if all solved the thunk upon acceleration that we feared was a dying transmission. Friendly, trustworthy AND reasonable mechanics are hard to find, very glad we were referred to Sundance !!

I'm a professional mechanic but everyone makes mistakes and I snapped off a bolt in the engine block of my own personal truck. I tried to extract it and broke off the extractor. Realizing the problem was above my skill level I scheduled a Time to have my truck towed to sundance. They got the bolt out and I put my truck back together. I would not have been able to do it without them.

I went to a previous service center to fix my AC and they said it would cost 2000+ dollars to essentially put in a new system, the wonderful poeple here at Sundance fixed my AC for 110 simply by plugging my compressor in. I don't know what this says about my previous car service provider, but I'm sure that I've found a better one here at Sundance! 10/10 will go again!

John and his mechanics did a wondeful on my 2003 Jeff Gordon Special Editon Monte Carlo. The car runs great. I was surprised when I picked the car up as they has also cleaned the car from the tires up. I would highly recommend this shop. We liked the work John and his shop did on my car that Kenny took his toy (1981 El Camino) to them to work on it . Now Kenny can drive it like he should !!

They rebuilt the engine in my 2 door Tahoe. They are great to work with and they did an outstanding job on a very large rebuild/repair. They repaired several other lesser issues at my request and did great work, also. I decided to work with Sundance because they were highly recommended by my transmission shop and they were definitely correct. My engine runs like the first day that I bought it. The shop is run by John and John Jr. and they are very fine people as well as excellent mechanics. I'll certainly be back with regular maintenance items and repairs. They took very good care of my Tahoe.

Straightforward, honest, and did good work. Glad to have a mechanic for my car that isn't messing with me. Referred by a friend for a 2005 Liberty diesel and John took care of it awesomely. Very reasonable labor rates and let me know upfront he couldn't find the part for a reasonable price. I found one but it would be a few days shipping for significantly cheaper and John was fine with keeping the car there until it arrived, which some mechanics won't do since it takes up a spot. Try to do the work myself mostly, but having an expert with a reasonable labor rate is at least worth it's weight in gold for diagnostics.

I'm definitely not one to do too many reviews, but when they are well deserved, then you have to make the time. I am truly grateful for finding a place where the price is fair and I can trust the guys working on my vehicle. Everyone is friendly at Sundance and they warranty their work. My car sat for a couple weeks and noone could figure out why it wouldn't start, but John and his crew figured out what was wrong with it and got it running smoothly. Thank you John! An auto repair shop you can trust. I started going here in 2007 when I asked my manager where we took our company cars to get fixed. I was told how good and honest of a place this was, so I took my truck here for some work one day. All I can say is YES- it's a great place to go if you don't want to question whether repairs are necessary or not. This place won't try to sell you repairs your car doesn't need. I've been going there for a few years now and confidently refer them to friends and neighbors. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust. Just glad I found one.
